Kintsugi

by Tea Solon

she drags her heavy feet
toward sonrisa

her hands veil those
visceral fissures, a brook

gushing scarlet water
from obliterated vows.

the raindrops can no longer
wipe away her severed tears

so she looks to the ocean
for a spite of panacea.

only after a tedious score
of changing seleno

he happened

like how urushi with rice flour
binds broken ceramics together

the thunderstorm
from his crystalline eyes

aureately seals together
her fragmented quintessence.

stronger wiser braver
she is new but always ancient

and this time when she loves
nothing can tear her down.
