Is it possible to write 50,000 words in a month?

This is how the idea came up, with an email from Sara Reichert, who said:

“I realized, after writing you, that National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is a US based, event but they do promote globally. The premis  is getting people to set a goal of 50,000 words (a first draft) in the month of November. They have different subsets and a shorter word count for kids and teens.  My November Blogs will take a week-by-week glance at what to work on, and inspiration to help people participating keep up their motivation. You can find out more at NaNoWriMo

If you think it would be a good series, I can send you the links as they are live (11/4, 11/11, 11/18, 11/25)” Sara Reichert

Sure I’m interested Sarah! I just would like you to specify the subject a little more -j re crivello

“Then the series of blogs for NaNoWriMo is only four blog posts, one per week for every week in November, following the schedule of the event. Running them on a Wednesday or Saturday afternoon would be fine, so it wouldn’t interfere with your other writers on schedule”. Sara Reichert

And now, we look forward to the next appointments with Sara Reichert every Saturday. -j re crivello
