see through the keyhole By Bogdan Dragos

you can only see through the keyhole
but you’re never meant to
go through the door

She wrote the words
on a napkin
as she watched
from her lone table
the couple holding hands
and kissing
a few tables away

Then she turned the napkin
on the other side
and wrote

Maybe I should just stop searching
and start writing poetry

followed by
a smiley face
that she copied with her own

I think this could be a Eureka moment. Words are more interesting anyways. 🙂

    1. The relationship one can have with words can be both more destructive and more constructive and fulfilling than with other people. It’s all about how you relate to them (─‿‿─)

Exactly. Words appear more reliable than people. Again, it’s people who infuse them with good or bad. Your deep thoughts reflect in your wonderful writing. Keep going!

  2. Could be a fantastic discovery for her… to find out more about herself through writing poetry, to describe the world and her wishes and her worries and much more.

    1. You’re right! ◉‿◉

I know a few people who fell in love with writing so bad that they place it way above any relationship with another human being.
